Brief Background about Malaria Disease
Malaria is one of the commonest sickness of the tropics and has killed millions of people including old, young and infants. About four parasites of the genius Plasmodium are responsible for the malaria disease of which P. falciparum is the commonest of them causing malaria. Malaria can be treated and can also be prevented. Sad enough people are still dying from the disease. Another sad part of this dangerous disease is the existence of the multi-drug resistant form of the disease called multi-drug resistant malaria. In this case, many of the malaria drugs are no longer able to cure the disease from the body of patients. This is why many people fall sick from malaria every time. Some treat malaria every two weeks. Such life is highly at risk and should be well looked after. KEDI Qinghao Anti-malaria Herbal drugs are specifically formulated to combat falciparum and the multi-drug resistant form of malaria. These herbal capsules treat all forms of malaria.

Mechanism of Action
Artemisinin has a strong effect in killing Plasmodium in red blood cells (erythrocytes) to control malaria outbreak and symptoms rapidly. It is thought to affect the function of membrane-mitochondria system. Artemisinin works on the ultra-structure of parasites in the erythrocytes phase. It also works on the food vesicles. The action on the food vesicle makes the parasites die rapidly as they lose most of the nutrition and cytoplasm without supplement. The mechanism occurs as unstable organic free radicals or other electrophilic media produced by the peroxide bridge mediated by the free ferrous ions produced by haem-metabolism, combined with parasite prot.
